We often associate great classical music with names of European composers like Bach, Beethoven and Mozart. To be sure, those composers deserve to be the legends that they are, but the truth is that incredible music comes from all over the world. Today we’re going to learn about an incredible composer from South America — one who combines the indigenous music of his home country with classical influences. In today’s episode, we’re learning about a legendary conductor, guitarist, cellist and composer, Heitor Villa-Lobos.
