
One of the oldest instruments in the orchestra is the flute. Rich and melodic in sound, the flute is used in special and unique ways as part of the orchestra.
In this episode, we’ll listen to some examples of how the flute is used in a couple of famous musical compositions. We’ll also learn a bit about the origins and construction of today’s modern day flute.
