Episode 5: The Opera

The opera is one of those things that people seem to really love…or really not love.

There are so many different styles of opera music, so many composers who have arranged opera music, and so many skilled vocalists who have performed opera music. All this to say, even if you might think you DON’T like opera music, there’s a variety of opera music out there. Maybe — just maybe — you’ll find an opera song or singer that you enjoy.

Or maybe you’ll at least grow appreciative of the skill that goes into creating and performing opera music.

With that said, I urge you to keep an open mind as we dive into this week’s podcast episode on opera music. Consider also making use of this week’s listening to calendar in order to get a sampling of some different styles of opera music.
