We'll explore the famous and fun Carnival of the Animals as we listen to the ways musical instruments are used to convey images and feelings.
In our daily lesson videos, I'll teach your student about quarter notes & eighth notes, piano and forte and the finger numbers used when playing the piano.
We'll learn about the pattern of black keys on the piano and how to find D and F, along with exploring high and low sounds at the keys.
As we study Carnival of the Animals, we will learn about the string, woodwind and percussion instruments.
Each day's downloadable packet of materials includes fun coloring activities, mazes or simple crafts.
A daily schedule with a checklist is included with each day's activities so that you don't have any guess work when it comes to proceeding through the materials.
“Carly is engaging and a joyful presence that not only keeps our daughter interested but encourages her through the learning process.”

Your child doesn't need previous knowledge of music or how to play music in order to participate in this camp's activities. I'll teach very, very basic elements of rhythm, music and keyboard geography during our daily mini-lessons.
