Busy Kids Do Peter & the Wolf is 3 days of activities related to this symphony to introduce kids to music
We'll explore the famous and fun Carnival of the Animals as we listen to the ways musical instruments are used to convey images and feelings.
We'll learn about the pattern of black keys on the piano and how to find D and F, along with exploring high and low sounds at the keys.
RHYTHM, DYNAMICS, FINGERING
In our daily lesson videos, I'll teach your student about quarter notes & eighth notes, piano and forte and the finger numbers used when playing the piano.
As we study Carnival of the Animals, we will learn about the string, woodwind and percussion instruments.
Carly is engaging and a joyful presence that not only keeps our daughter interested but encourages her through the learning process.

WHAT ELSE YOU SHOULD KNOW
No musical experience needed
Your child doesn't need previous knowledge of music or how to play music in order to participate in this camp's activities. I'll teach very, very basic elements of rhythm, music and keyboard geography during our daily mini-lessons.
Minimal materials required
I've done the heavy lifting for you when it comes to the work for this program! You'll need to provide your student with crayons or markers, paper -- and that's it! If you have a rhythm instrument (tambourine, drum, triangle) at home, this can be a fun addition, but is not required.
Links to activities don't expire
Over the next 5 days, you'll receive e-mails from me that contain links to each day's activities. These links don't expire, so you can work through the activities whenever it fits into your schedule!
A WORD FROM THE CREATOR.
“Hi! I'm Carly. I've been teaching piano lessons for 17 years, and I am passionate about using technology to make music more accessible to young students everywhere. I hope you'll join me for this fun, 5-day program that will deepen your child's understanding and appreciation for the musical world around him.””
